About Axton
Axton Incorporated has been building custom industrial equipment from our facility in Delta, British Columbia since 1976. We started as a small steel fabrication shop making anchors and parts for pulp mills. Today we are one of Western Canada's most capable custom manufacturing operations, with roots in the region's fabrication industry stretching back to 1921 through our acquisition of Ellett Industries.
In 2016, Axton acquired the intellectual property rights of Ellett Industries, founded in 1921 and one of Western Canada's original exotic alloy fabricators. That acquisition brought over 90 years of titanium, zirconium, and tantalum fabrication expertise into our shop, giving the combined operation a history stretching back more than 100 years.
Today we deliver full-scope engineering, fabrication, machining, mechanical assembly, painting, and logistics under one roof. Our 72,000 sq ft ASME-certified shop is one of the largest fabrication and machine shops in Western Canada, with direct barge access, rail and road transport, and proximity to Vancouver International Airport.
Over five decades we have fabricated everything from Olympic landmark structures to critical process equipment for petrochemical plants across North America.
